For four years Rizq has been conducting Rizq Iftar every Ramadan, and the benefit experienced has been spread across all of Pakistan. This year Rizq is planning to go bigger and help as many people as possible!
Rizq is prepared to fulfill its promise of spreading 150 Dastarkhwans this Ramadan, which is why volunteers from all across Pakistan have been mobilized to take the lead and conduct this initiative.
Rizq will be conducting Dastarkhwans every single day in the blessed month of Ramadan across 15 different cities of Pakistan. These include, Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Buhrewala, Abbotabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Peshawar, Sialkot, Hyderabad, Quetta, Gujrat and Mardan.
The Dastarkhwan in Lahore at Raiwind Road, Dubai Chowk close to the Rizq Food Bank will be held every day at sunset, open to food insecure people where they can have a fulfilling Iftar that consists of a plate of Biryani, dates and fruit. With the rest of the locations selected on need-based requirements, 2 rotational dastarkhwan’s will be set up every day in Lahore.
With each Dastarkhwan feeding more than 200 people at once, we require the assistance of our kind and compassionate community, which can help our cause and help us fulfill our promise. Be it through in kind food supplies or by donating Iftars on our website, one can fund as many Dastarkhwans as they wish or even donate one Iftar for a single individual which costs only Rs 150/- while the cost of one Dastarkhwan is Rs 30,000/-
